I'm drinking round Upton Park tonight so will probably pop to Nathans.

There is a little stall outside the Builders also though.

Chrisp Street market has a couple, about 10-15 minutes away from Stratford by DLR

the Plough at Swan Wharf do pie and mash. It being a hipster place, though, they probably have it totally wrong.

Pie in a tin wrapping, buttered and seasoned mash in a bowl, and a side of liquor with a spoon sticking out of it all served on a chopping board?

I tried the P&M at the Plough after the last home game.

Served in a cardboard takeaway box - nothing hipster at all.

Pie, Mash & Liquor all passed muster. Condiments available - Salt, Pepper, Vinegar, Chilli Vinegar.

All good. Give it a go.

Have you considered a roast fennel & orange salad on black olive tapenade on toast instead?

Kelly's Roman Road and you walk to the ground within 20 minutes.

PS, it's probably the best pie shop in London and pisses over anything served at Nathan's.

It used to be where I'd go before making my way to Plaistow.

Is Kelly's still open?

Robins was always my favourite.

Liquor was too thick at Kelly's.

Had a £7 pork roll outside the ground after Juve game. He stuck a massive slab of crackling on it. Christ, my mouth is watering at the memory...

As you were.

Used to be £4 at Upton Park Buster and you would get a free ticket to the game.
